Medical radiation technology (imaging and
radiation therapy) are vital components of
modern healthcare. Imaging results help doctors
diagnose health and medical conditions, while
radiation therapy helps treat some of those
conditions. The health professionals who perform
these crucial tests and administer radiation
therapy are medical radiation technologists (MRTs).
The Alliance of Medical Radiation Technologists
Regulators of Canada (AMRTRC) is a group of
provincial
MRT regulators.
Together we hope to address and evolve MRT
regulation and regulatory issues to enhance
safe, competent and ethical care for Canadians.
